The Geneva Motor Show is in the midst, and we can expect to see a fair few electric cars debut, one of which is the Chevrolet Spark EV :
An electric version of the Chevrolet Spark is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Whilst Chevrolet is keeping their cards pretty close to their chest, we know that the car’s battery can be fast-charged to 80% in a mere 20 minutes. From a 230v socket a full charge will take between 6 and 8 hours.
Despite the Spark EV being electric, it should boast more power than any of its internal combustion counterparts, offering a power output of 130ps. The equipment levels to be on offer with the Spark EV sound impressive, including two seven-inch touchscreens. It has been confirmed for sale in 2014 but it is not currently known whether or not it will be sold here in the UK.
The original Sparks came with a very appealing 5 year promise, which included five years’ warranty, servicing, roadside assistance and MoT test cover, though it is unknown whether or not it will be inclusive with the EV model.
